Level 2 – Enhancement Detail
Precision CLEANSE PROCESS + Machine Polishing + Protection
- The vehicle is treated with a precision cleansing Hi PH foam to break down road grime and pollution, grease, and dirt, we then apply a low PH precision cleansing foam to break down and remove mineral deposits (mild water spot staining) from glass, chrome, hard plastics, and painted surfaces
- After precision cleansing, we move on to removing iron particles embedded in the paintwork and the tar removal process, after this is completed a second covering of precision cleanse Hi PH is done to remove any chemicals left on the paintwork
- The vehicle is then washed using PH-neutral shampoo using a twin grit guard bucket system to prevent any stones and sharp-edged particles from being carried onto the car via a wash mitt.
- The engine bay is cleaned and dressed
- Wheels are cleaned using a nonacidic-based wheel and tire cleaner
- The door shuts, petrol cap, arches, and lower section parts will be cleaned (where accessible).
- The vehicle is hand-dried using deep-pile microfibre towels and a 200mph hot air blower to ensure all water is removed from the paintwork
- The paintwork is treated with a clay bar (mild or aggressive) removing bonded surface contaminants.
- Tyres are dressed with a premium tyre dressing.
- Exterior plastics and door trims are dressed
PAINT CORRECTION – 60-70% CORRECTION FACTOR
Paint thickness is measured using an ultrasonic paint depth gauge
- Paintwork is treated to a single-stage machine polishing correction process, to remove light paint defects and imperfections, such as minor swirl marks and holograms, and increase the gloss factor.
- All light clusters are treated and protected.
- Premium paint sealant is applied to the paintwork and plastics
Why choose the Level 2 Enhancement Detail?
- This is our entry-level paint correction detail, that removes minor imperfections including fine swirls/scratches in the clearcoat/topcoat of the paint. This package is perfect for new cars, or cars with dulled paint that need a refresh and perfect for classic cars.
- This process results in a 60% to 70% ‘correction factor’, it will not, however, remove any deeper scratches.
- Ceramic coating can be applied at an extra cost ( Please ask for more information)
To seal freshly corrected paintwork we apply a premium paint sealant but we do recommend Ceramic Coating to lock in the machine polish work and the added glossiness and hydrophobic properties make the car easier maintenance or PPF for ultimate protection.
